Foundations of Veterinary Longevity.

The Science and Clinical Integration of Healthspan Medicine. A structured postgraduate professional education programme introducing veterinarians to the principles, evidence, ethics, and clinical integration of Veterinary Longevity.

Programme Positioning

It is designed for veterinarians who want a serious, evidence-graded introduction to healthspan medicine in animals: beyond geriatric care, beyond anti-aging marketing, and beyond unstructured CPD.

Format

Primary format: structured online course. Future editions may include live online sessions, hybrid formats, or selected in-person components where they support the learning objectives.

Professional Review

Developed with CPD/CE alignment in mind.

This programme is being structured with professional review readiness in mind. Where applicable, selected programmes may be submitted to relevant CPD/CE bodies for review. External CPD/CE recognition, credit allocation, or approval will be stated clearly on this page once formally granted.

Evidence Framework

Each claim graded against four levels.

VAI distinguishes between established clinical evidence, emerging clinical evidence, mechanistic or preclinical evidence, and expert hypothesis. Veterinary Longevity education must not be used to promote miracle anti-aging claims or unsupported interventions.

Level 1
Strong Clinical Evidence
Established, replicated, clinically accepted.
Level 2
Emerging Clinical Evidence
Early but credible clinical data.
Level 3
Preclinical or Mechanistic
Laboratory or translational; not yet clinical.
Level 4
Expert Hypothesis
Reasoned perspective; clearly labelled.
